Posted on 2008-04-18 14:51:42 by Lori from Topeka
I just want to thank you for sharing your gift of writing with the world. I own every one of your books & have read them several times. I'm always excited to hear a new one is coming out & then I get it and am finished with it in 2 days !! It's amazing how you draw people into your books -- they are so good ! You just can't put them down. It's impossible to pick a favorite & The Choice was just wonderful !!!

I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!

I usually never read, but my sister got me hooked on your books after the movie of The Notebook came out. I have all of your books and i have finished reading six of them. So far my favorite is Dear John. I read it everynight before going to bed, and eventually got my fiance started on your books. They are wonderful.. keep them coming. ;)

DEAR JOHN
Posted on 2008-04-16 16:08:02 by Alyson
I heard a rumor that Dear John would be made into a movie, starring Channing Tatum. Is this true?

I wacthed the movie of the notebook and thought what a lovely story i was pleased to find out it was a book so i bought a copy usally its the other way round but i thought the book was beautiful and the book and movie complement each other i then starting reading more of nicholas novels such as the wedding,at first sight, true beleiver, dear john i have just finished a bend in the road what a beautiful story, it amazes me how something written so simply can touch you and they are so much more realstic not everthing has a constant happy story, i am just beggining nights in roadanthe and then on to message in the bottle which i saw many years ago and im sure will be brilliant then i will have to buy the rest thanks for the enjoyment :)

thank you!

I too was NEVER a reader until my Mom (my parents live in New Bern) gave me a book to read at the beach (Emerald Isle). I couldn't put it down. It was The Notebook. Then I read A Bend In The Road, my favorite! I read two books in one week! I don't think I'd read two whole books in my life. Now I have read all of yours and some from other authors (who pale in comparison). My grandparents lived in that little white brick house around the corner from you (I won't name roads for your privacy but it is the road the cemetary is on). If you ever want to surprise a wonderful old couple, let me know. They live in Greenbriar. I can't wait for your next book! Thank you for making me an avid reader! Susan

love your books

I have never been a big reader. But while shopping one day A Bend In The Road just jumped out at me. So I bought it and then bought The Wedding and At First Sight. I read all three in about a months time! I just got done with Dear John, although it didnt keep me as interested as the other three. I am getting ready to start True Believer! I have Message In A Bottle, The Guardian, and Nights In Rodanthe waiting their turn in my desk to be read. Thank you for reintroducing books to my life. Keep them coming!

Thanks so much.

I just wanted to write and say thank you. For two reasons.
1. Thanks to you I am reading again. I haven't read much in 15 years (I'm 41). I've now read all of your novels and am continuing in my reading. It is such a joy and I give you the credit.
2. Thanks for making me realize how blessed I am in my life. You have given me an even deeper appreciation of my blessings. These "everyday glories" that abound in my life have been brought to realization through your stories. You give your readers so much more than you realize.

On a final note, would you consider in the future writing another story with Jeremy Marsh? I'd love to see him eventually find love again. I think it would be a great story. And wouldn't it be great to have a trilogy! Anyway, Jeremy is my favorite of your characters and I'd love to read more of his story.

Next novel's main character
Posted on 2008-04-12 12:43:56 by Linda Hughes
Hi Nicholas, we met at your book signing for "Dear John" and I mentioned to you that my Marine son who was deployed read all of your books and I showed you a picture of him over in Iraq reading "The Guardian". At that time you told me that the main character in DJ was in the army but that you were working on a novel where the character is a Marine. Can you tell me if that is your next novel and when we can expect to see if in stores? I'm looking forward to seeing how "Nights" turned out for the big screen!

God Bless!

Awesome piece of work

Hi ,
I just finished reading Nights in Rodanthe last night.. Must admit, I cried a lot..Adrienne's loss seemed so deep, yet the agony that she could not express it to anybody..how lonely she would have been. You indeed are an amazing writer..Must say..
I read The Guardian earlier. I liked it too.. Somehow, I can always feel the love in your novels, its described so beautifully.
Am sure to pick up another one soon and start off with it. Keep up the Good work!!
Best Regards,
Rubeca

I am watching the Msg. in a Bottle and I Googled you to learn more...I'm taken by Robin W. but I come to realize it is the words...how refreshing to read a man write like a woman. Interesting. I am also happy to learn that, like me, you are a martial artist. You write really well, it's an amazing gift.

The Wedding
Posted on 2008-04-12 20:05:54 by Melissa Thomas
I have read this book so many times I couldn't keep track. It is probably the most romantic book I have ever read. I cried every time. I just have to say that your wife is the luckiest person I know to have a husband like you. The Wedding made me think of my own marriage, because we have become distant in our relationship. Your book has given me hope and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. I hope you come out with many new and heartwarming novels.

Thank you for your time,

melissa

it all started when I heard about a little novel titled "A Walk to Remember" -- loved it..and i hated reading at the time! Ever since i put that book down my mission was to read all of your novels...mission completed! Whenever I hear of a new one coming out I have to buy it that day. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy your works! They're all so wonderful! I'm re-reading "A Bend in the Road" (my personal favorite) and can't get over Miles Ryan! --thank you once again!

Hi Nicholas! I am a huge fan of yours and have been ever since I read A Walk To Remember almost eight years ago. Ever since then, I have been hooked! I can never seem to get enough of your books. I love to know whats going on with you and updates on future novels, do you plan on updating "The Latest" section anytime soon or writing those monthly updates again? I'm sure your fans miss them! :) Thanks a lot!

Addicted to your books!
Posted on 2008-04-21 20:05:20 by Michelle
Before i read your books i was never into reading at all. The only books I read before were the ones required for my high school english class. It all started with the movie The Notebook, which is my all time favorite, and I wanted to see what the book had to offer. After that i was hooked. I have read each of your books and quite a few left me in tears. But now im in a dilemma because i enjoy reading in my spare time but dont know of any other author that could add up to my expectations of the amazing books you've written.

Does anyone know if the part of Savannah has been cast in Dear John? I know Channing Tatum got the part of John but I have not heard anything else about the "book to be movie" since the writers strike.
