I hae read most of your books and have to say that each and everyone of them touch my heart in all different ways. I am a grade 9 student who didnt love to read as much, but cant stop reading after reading the first book i have ever read from you, Dear John.Since that moment on, i have been addicted to your books and read and collect all of them.I want to thank you for being such a good author and teaching me many stuff while reader yours books. Since the moment I started ready them, they have taught me lessons and made me stop and think about the path i am taking in my own life. It may be funny to see this coming from a grade 9 student but i am speaking the hundred percent truth. I seem to always look forward to reading your books at any moment of the day especially when i am going through hard times. When my grandmother passed away i turned to your books to make me feel better and they sure do. So thank you so much for teaching me about the qualities and stuff that matter more in life. Thank you for being my hero and making me feel better with your heat warming and touching books 
Totally in love with Nicholas Sparks books. Stumbled across his writing after watching ‘The Notebook’. Am just about to read ‘The Best of Me’ then going to start on ‘The Lucky One’, then I’ll be ready to watch the film adaptation.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kim Liedberg and I am a 53 year old married woman with 3 adult childern. I have to be honest with you I am not much of a reader of romance novels, however my youngest daughter has been a fan of yours since the beginning of her teenage years and she has every novel you have ever written. The reason I am contacting you is because I have an extraordinary true story that I strongely believe needs to be told. It involve romance, tragity, and betrayl all in a small midwest town back in the early 1960’s. I have kept this in since I was a child and I finally feel I am ready to share this touching story with others.

I know you hear this a lot. But your books are AMAZING! i had the opportunity to go to North Carolina this past summer. That met so much to me that i got to go to the State where my all-time favorite author wrote his books. I went to the university of North Carolina-Willingham, where they shot the notebook, i just thought that was an amazing experience, I kept on bragging about being in North and South Carolina. I have collected a good part of your books and the movies. Personally I like the first three recent books. safe haven, the last song and the best of me, i begged my mom for that book! i got it for my birthday along with the lucky one and if i do say myself, the way they pick the actors/actresses are pretty good amd i love the way you write the love stories. I am 17 years old and one of my goals are to meet you, i have done several book reports on you, and ive gotten A’s. thank you for you time and i hope we get to meet sometime, i know your very busy, just to shake your hand would be enough
